		<p>  Our real  strength is in commercial and industrial losses, in terms of both overcoming  Insurers' resistance to payment in principle, and then in negotiating interim  payments and final settlement amounts.</p>
		<p>  We have  achieved settlement for policyholders of serious material damage and business  interruption losses in the manufacturing, storage, card, hygiene, construction,  nightclub, agricultural, recycling and motor trade industries.</p>

		<p>After a serious fire in a health and fitness club, we advised the  Insured and broker on how to formulate, present and negotiate the claims with  their Insurers' loss adjusters. The broker wrote to say;</p>
		<p>&quot;This claim is now nearing a conclusion. The settlement of the  Material Damage and Business Interruption is well over &pound;1 million. I am writing  to thank you for your efforts in the successful negotiation of this claim and  your participation at such an early stage was key to the success of the  claim.&quot; </p>
		<p>&quot;It is rare in the insurance industry these days to work with true  professionals, but in this instance I was very pleased to be part of your team!  I am sure that my clients are equally as grateful.&quot; </p>
		<p>  In another instance, an Insurer had flatly refused a very serious claim  for a High Net Worth Client. At the broker's request, we looked into the claim  and damage in detail and explained to the Insurers' adjusters the true extent  of cover given by the policy. The Insurers nevertheless continued to resist the  claim very firmly. </p>
		<p>  We then brought forward still more arguments, based on case law, the  rules of contract, the principles of insurance, market practice and the  Ombudsman's views. The broker kept up a dialogue with the Insurers, whose case  weakened and collapsed. They agreed to pay. The broker commented to us </p>
